Usability Testing World Wide Web Sites

Call for Participation

Participants in this workshop must have concrete experience running usability tests on a World Wide Web site. Applicants should send a 3 - 5 page position paper with:

The position papers should describe usability testing methods that they have successfully applied to Web sites, including the kinds of usability problems the methods detect effectively, the kinds of problems to which they are less sensitive, the kinds of users and tasks for which they are best suited, the kinds of resources required to use the methods, and the point(s) in the development process at which they are best used.

The application deadline for participants is February 7, 1997. A machine-readable position paper (ASCII text, HTML, Rich Text Format, Microsoft Word, or WordPerfect document) sent by e-mail is strongly preferred. Notification of accepted/rejected workshop participants will occur by February 28.
