CHI 96 Workshop: HCI and the Web
The "HCI and the Web" workshop at CHI 96
served as a meeting to lay out and discuss some of the human-computer interaction
issues related to the World Wide Web. The original
call for participation for the
workshop provides some reasons for the workshop and some of the expected outcomes.
One result of the workshop was the formation of the webhci Web Page and
associated mailing list
to continue the discussions and to start a means of disseminating information about HCI issues
of the Web.
