Set aside your expectation of a traditional museum and come discover the
only museum devoted to people and computers. On Monday, November
18, you'll join the other conference attendees and experience why this
museum is like nowhere else you've ever been! You will be able to "pilot" your
own DC-10 or race your own sports car alongside the pros. Try breeding your own
fish in an electronic aquarium, discuss your day with a computer therapist, or
even spend a million dollars all by yourself. All this and more is in store for
you at The Computer Museum in downtown Boston.
Shuttle bus service will transport you between the Hyatt and the Museum. The cost of this event is included in the
registration fee.
Buses leave at 6:00 p.m. from the Hyatt. The reception itself begins
at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m.
A SIGOIS meeting will be
held Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30p.m. in the Adams Ballroom. Everyone (non-members included) is welcome. Agenda:
- Building our identity. Come hear why we're changing our name to
SIGGROUP.
- GROUP '97. Wolfgang Prinz and Stephen Hayne, GROUP '97 Co-Chairs,
will tell you about some of the exciting things planned for our 1997 conference.
- People to People delegation to China. Come hear how you might participate.
- Discussion.
