Due date: April 28, 2000 See also: Guide to Successful Paper Submissions Papers should present original reports of substantive new work or integrative reviews of some aspect of CSCW. Potential areas of interest include theory, methodology, empirical investigations, architectures, prototypes and experiences related to the development, deployment and use of computer systems supporting all aspects of collaborative activities, including, but not limited to, activities in the home, at work and in entertainment. Papers will be evaluated on their novelty, significance, quality and contribution to the field. Papers should be no longer than 10 pages, including all figures and references, and should be formatted according to the standard ACM SIGCHI publication guidelines. (In addition to the templates CHI provides, there is a style file cscw2k.sty available for LaTeX users.) Papers should include an abstract of no more than 100 words. CSCW 2000 encourages on-line submission. If you submit your paper online, you need not send us a paper copy. To submit your paper, and for more information about the procedure, please go to the CSCW 2000 Papers website at: Paper submissions should be received by the chairs by 5pm local time on Friday, April 28.
