On Sunday I was able to attend part of the tutorial, Congnitive Factors in Design. I listened to Thomas T. Hewett from Drexel University, head of the tutorial. While I was there, he was discussing several methods and ways to remember things.

At the break I had the opportunity to interview Robin Kavanagh, an attendee. She told me that Mr. Hewett was giving the attendees exercises and not just the methods to remember. She thought that it was very interesting that he gave all of the exercises. Later I interviewed Thomas Hewett. He told me that he gave the attendees exercises to test his methods of remembering.

One method he told me was to make a list of the order that things needed to be done and this made remembering easier. This was a very cool tutorial because it discussed the phenomena of human memory.
