Instructions for Electronic Submissions to Short Talks and Interactive Posters
You will submit your Short Talk/Interactive Poster electronically for CHI 2000. You also must submit your paper as hard copy, as directed in the checklist. The paper packets must be received by the deadline, 13 December 1999.
To submit your paper, you will link to an external site. This site is not part of the CHI 2000 web site. It is being used by several ACM conferences and therefore has a different look and feel. The confidentiality of your submission will be maintained throughout the review process. The URL for the external site is http://msrconf.microsoft.com/sigchi/shorttalks.
To submit your Short Talk/Interactive Poster, you will:
- Enter your cover sheet information, including author information, keywords, an abstract and other information at http://msrconf.microsfot.com/sigchi/shorttalks. You will not use Cover Pages One, Two and Three from the Call for Participation.
- Submit the electronic version of your two-page Extended Abstract (PDF or Word file). Also submit the electronic version of your Interactive Poster layout diagram (PDF or Word file), if you want your submission to be considered for Interactive Posters.
- Print out the page entitled "CHI 2000 Submission Completed" with the details of your submission.
- Continue through the CHI 2000 Short Talks and Interactive Posters checklist to submit your paper packets.
Please have your electronic versions of your Extended Abstract and layout diagram prepared, then go to the Electronic Short Talks and Interactive Posters Submissions site.
If you are unable to submit an electronic version for any reason, please complete the electronic cover page information at Electronic Short Talks and Interactive Posters Submissions (steps 1 through 5) and contact the CHI 2000 Short Talks and Interactive Posters Co-Chairs for further instructions. Do not use Cover Pages One, Two and Three from the CHI 2000 Call for Participation.
