Instructions for Electronic Papers Submissions

For the first time, you are able to submit your paper electronically for CHI 2000. You also must submit your paper as hard copy, as directed in the checklist. The Paper packets must be received by the Papers Deadline, 13 September 1999.

To submit your paper, you will link to an external site. This site is not part of the CHI 2000 web site. It is being used by several ACM conferences and therefore has a different look and feel. The confidentiality of your submission will be maintained throughout the review process.

To submit your paper, you will:

• Enter your cover sheet information, including author information, keywords, an abstract and other information. You will not use Cover Pages One, Two and Three from the Call for Participation.
• Submit the two PDF files, one of your paper and the other of its anonymous version.
• Print out the page entitled "CHI 2000 Submission Completed" with the details of your submission.
• Continue through the CHI 2000 Papers checklist to submit your paper packets.

Please have your abstract and PDF files prepared, then go to the Electronic Papers Submissions site.

If you are unable to submit a PDF version for any reason, please complete the electronic cover page information at "Electronic Papers Submissions" (steps 1 through 5) and contact the CHI 2000 papers chairs for further instructions. Do not use Cover Pages One, Two and Three from the CHI 2000 Call for Participation.
